Meet Dr. Veronica Barreto – Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Veronica Barreto is a practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the Delaware Valley. A Philadelphia native, she graduated with her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish History and Literature from Temple University in 2007.
She then received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2011, Magna cum Laude from Temple University School of Dentistry. She completed a one-year internship training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2012 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In 2016, she completed her residency training at Temple University Hospital where she served as Chief Resident from 2015-2016.
She then moved to the Lehigh Valley and has been practicing as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the Lehigh Valley where she was the first female oral surgeon in the Lehigh Valley. She took level 1 trauma call from 2016 to 2021 where she also helped train rotating senior Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and General Practice Residency residents. She ultimately decided to transition back to her native city and Bozentka Oral Surgery was the perfect fit. She currently resides in Wescosville, PA with her husband, Mark, her two daughters, Vivienne and Stella, her two doggies Nino and Mookie and her cat, Coal. In her spare time she loves to cook, read and spend time with her family.
